overview
scope of services

I help businesses achieve a higher level of professionalism and profitability by reviewing their activities in several strategic phases. The following is an example of how a catering company is reviewed:

PHASE I
• Proposals
• Party Evaluation
• Marketing
• Sales (Business Infrastructure, Time Management)

PHASE II
• Contracts
• Insurance
• Financials

PHASE I
The first phase in my relationship to a client includes the very important Discovery time period - where I clarify the objectives of the company, understand and research what its unique company mission and vision are and review the current operations toward fulfilling these.

Proposals
Catering companies gain most of your clientele through proposals that stand out. I will review your proposals and make recommendations on pricing, language, graphic style, menu choices and ease of usage based on our discovery.

Party Evaluation
I attend your catered parties, cocktails, seated dinners and buffets to taste the food, analyze the service, observe food presentation and the overall flow of the event. From my observations, I make recommendations for increased efficiency and give you practical methods for streamlining your party operations.

Marketing
Your marketing messages tell the world and your clients about you and your service and why they should choose you over your competition. Advertising, public relations and distribution of your message are necessary for increasing sales, but can be costly. Before you push a message out through a variety of marketing channels, I review and
test them. Upon evaluation, I assist in the decision making process of creating your company's new image or logo, Web site or press kit. I work with your PR or marketing firm to hone the design and distribution of your marketing plan to capture the most appropriate audiences.

Sales
In order for your company to achieve the highest level of profitability, I review your sales infrastructures. I work with your sales team to answer the following questions:
* How are you selling now?
* Who is selling for you, and what are you doing to get repeat business?
* How are you up selling?
* How do you stay in touch with your clients?
* What do you do for your clients after an event?
* Do you regularly stay in touch with your clients?

I often attend your sales meetings to watch you close sales and interview potential clients. There are many great and effective selling techniques that can be utilized. I'll show you these proven methods for closing sales.

PHASE II

Contracts
I review your existing catering contracts and make recommendations. If you do not have a contract, FLAVORS will create one with your attorney and will work with your lawyer to make the most appropriate changes and create a document that suits your business, level of trade and relevant legal protection required.

Insurance
It's very important to have insurance for your events. I will review your policies and make the most suitable recommendations.

Financials
I've run my own successful catering company for over twenty years in the heart of New York City and have worked with top name clients - from Fortune 500 companies to top name galas. I will review your current financial documents, P&L statements, cash flow, budgets, and employment contracts and will identify areas for improvement.
